Into the Wild Retreat is an 85 acre working cattle farm nestled in Ashe County, North Carolina. It offers the perfect blend of open rolling meadows, high elevations, wooded hiking trails, and breathtaking long range views. 

 

There is an abundance of natural wildlife including deer, wild turkey, coyote, and the occasional black bear. There are multiple locations and opportunities to view wildlife from a distance throughout your stay. 

 

Our glamping tents are situated at an elevation of over 3,000 ft which will enhance your experience during sunrises, sunsets, and starry nights.

 

What would complete your reconnect with nature experience? The sound of a fresh water trout stream, of course! Both Kilby Creek and Big Laurel Creek run through the 85 acre farm. Imagine awakening to the peaceful sound of rushing water or winding down your evening by enjoying your favorite beverage stream side.
